Elevate’s Leadership in Training (L.I.T.) program is Canada’s #1 ultimate-based youth leadership program. Our goal is to build a diverse community of young people who are empowered, inspired, and motivated to be leaders and coaches in ultimate and the world. This program has run successfully in BC for the past 5 years with over 40 L.I.T. alumni becoming full-time paid coaches or captains of their ultimate teams, among other amazing accomplishments. We at Elevate are so excited to now be able to invite youth from all over the country to join in this initiative!
Details
- Bi-weekly online and in-person meetings + (1) Local Retreat
- Program runs from September – March
- For students in Grades 9 – 1st year University
- Leaders will learn Ultimate-based youth leadership practices such as teamwork, goal setting, sportspersonship and public speaking
- Leaders will be given a minimum (10) hours of volunteer experience to practice their skills in Elevate’s programs
- Most importantly, leaders will get the opportunity to have fun and meet friends from across the city
- Cost for the program is $200
